Tony Daverso has been with the Lighthouse since 2006. He has worked as a Job Coach and has been the Housing Specialist since March of 2007. Tony was born Deaf and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada where he learned a variety of communication methods including Cued Speech, Oral Methods and later American Sign Language. Later he moved to California and in 1988 graduated from University High School in Irvine, CA. He attended four different colleges. In 1996 Tony came to Seattle for a fresh start.  He worked in many different settings before working at the Deaf-Blind Service Center as a Support Service Provider (SSP). He became involved with the Seattle Lighthouse through volunteering at Deaf-Blind class and Seabeck camp. He truly loves being part of the Deaf-Blind community and the Seattle Lighthouse.

In California Tony liked to go to the beach and enjoyed warm water and sunny weather. But in Washington its really too cold! He still enjoys hanging out in the sun. And in his spare he loves to go to art shows, the theater, and being involved in two organizations the North West Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf (NWRAD) and Theaters, Allies and Deaf Audiences (TADA!).
