Seattle Lighthouse for the Blind

Deaf-Blind Retreat

Hi there! The Retreat is coming up in less than 4 months! Applications were mailed in February. We sent out acceptance letters for DB this week (thank you Jaclyn!). Volunteers, you should already know if you've been accepted. We'll be sending out acceptance forms to volunteers in the next week or two.

IMPORTANT! A few people have said they NEVER got the application forms, and wonder if they were removed from our list. NO NO NO NO NO! If you've been to camp before and didn't get an application this year, it was a MISTAKE! Once you're on our mailing list we don't ever take you off unless you tell us or we don't hear from you for many years. So anyone who didn't get the forms, we are very, VERY SORRY and will try to figure out WHAT in the world has happened. That said, if you want an application, CONTACT US!! You can call Jaclyn at 206-436-2133, or download from the website. We LOVE our volunteers, and the many friends we have in the extended community, AND KNOW YOU FEEL THE SAME! Grin and hugs and be in touch.

Another reminder!! IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO VOLUNTEER FOR CAMP BUT HAVEN'T SENT IN THE FORMS YET, PLEASE SEND THEM ASAP! We want as many of our experienced friends back as possible, however, we've already received a pretty good number of applications and will start slowing down our acceptance. But if you've been to camp before, we want you back again! Got it?? Grin. Any questions, let us know. Any special requests, let us know. Any mischief to plan, let us know!!! THANK YOU!!!
